An IBEW electrician in King Arthur's Court

Going to work overhere is a little more complicated than I was prepared for. I have to take a class to get 16th Edition approved (for their electrical code). I found a class being offered at Castle College in Nottingham (£220) on two Wednesdays, May 2nd and 9th, and the test is on Wednesday May 16th. I also have to get an ECS1 certificate, which is a job site safety test (similar type material to our job sites). I take that test on Friday May 25th (£35). Then I have to mail the two certificates and copies of my apprenticeship certificates (to show I went through an apprenticeship program), and the comparison certificate to the JIB (Joint Industry Board). To get the comparison I have to send the copies of my apprenticeship papers to UK Naric so they can determine if my apprenticeship was comparable to their standards (£39.95).

So, while this is going on, my cousin Peter has been able to get me work a couple of days a week as a laborer on his job site. Hopefully, by June, I can get work as an electrician.

It will all be worth it once you get to use that incredible toilet that you've been raving about. There is a movement happening (Pardon the expression) to have the UK working conditions brought to the US! We shall all be able to poop like human beings soon enough thanks to you Kevin! You will forever be known as the Crap King!
GOD SAVE THE KING!!!!!
