Got tenants?

An update on the rental situation...

Our property management company was able to find another tenant for our house! Yay! She moved in Sept 1.

We were a bit concerned that we'd have trouble finding a new tenant. From what we've learned, most people who are moving into a house, as opposed to an apartment, want a lease that is at least a year. Since we are still planning on coming back next year (April or May-ish), we didn't want to offer a 12-month lease and be homeless for 5-6 months. So we thought we'd take a shot at the 6-month lease and go from there.

Apparently, that works out perfectly for our new tenant who is looking to buy a house in the area and didn't want a long-term lease anyway.

Phew.

It sounds like you guys are having the time of your lives! Good for you two.
We still miss you guys, but are glad you are living your dream.
We haven't seen the new tenant, but maybe they will move in this weekend. We will stop by and introduce ourselves.
Keep writing, cause we love reading them.

Hey Kari and Kevin! We are having a great time reading about your adventures and beer drinking. Life can't get much better than going to one beer
festival after another!

I thought that I hadn't seen the first couple in your house for a while, but I wasn't sure. I saw another couple, different car (although the woman looked a bit like the first woman) so I thought she was with a friend. Glad you have a new tenant, but we sure miss seeing you all in the neighborhood!
