Kevin has been in the US now for 2 weeks. It's so strange to not have him around - this is the longest we've been apart for over 15 years. But he'll be back next week.
It's been interesting trying to coordinate phone calls with the time difference, and we've mainly been communicating via email. He's been working his butt off doing lots of errands, repairs on the house, and other administrivial chores (he'll probably need a break when he gets back!).
Meanwhile, back at le ranch, I've been spending time with my friends, as well as time by myself at home.
But I do miss him. Sigh.
