We arrived just before noon on Saturday and checked into the hotel. The town is very old and the beaches are beautiful. It wasn't very crowded yet, so that was nice.
We met the others for lunch at a little restaurant about a 5-minute walk from the hotel and ate the most awesome pasta. The coffee was fantastic as well, much better than what we get in France! And the cost was extremely reasonable.
After a short stroll on the promenade, we headed back to the room and took a nap. The main event was a meal at a different restaurant, which was also very good.
We ended up at a little bar that had a live band. It was full, but we were the only ones dancing! Oh well. The band was really good and we had a fantastic time. We ended up closing the place down at 4am!! Pretty late for us old folks...
