Bataille des Fleurs

We went to the Bataille des Fleurs (Battle of Flowers) last Sunday, June 14th, here in Antibes. It is a parade of floats made out of flowers. The floats are done by different groups. There were also marching bands, half-nekkid Brazilian girls, baton twirlers and free flowers. The people on the floats would throw flowers out to the crowds. Kari collected a nice bouquet of carnations and roses. It was rather fun and the bands were pretty good.
