It's official!

The house is rented! The tenants are a family relocating to the area from Indiana. They are really nice, responsible people, so we're excited. It sure takes a huge load off our shoulders. This also means that we've now got at least a year where we can explore and travel around. We're still debating where we're going to go and exactly what the plan is, but it's moving along.
It was kind of stressful there for a while as we had to fire our original poperty management company since they couldn't seem to advertise our property correctly. But, we found a new, local company that we're very happy with. They've been so helpful with the quick turnaround of the new tenants and have been very responsive to our million questions about the whole process.

We've been crazy-busy trying to get the house in order. The painting is nearly finished and most of the house has been packed up. We've gotten a storage unit that is only 5 minutes away, but haven't yet had time to move anything out! This is the last week of work for both of us, so we've got 2 weeks to finish everything up before we are completely out of the house. It's going along, but there are just so many small details to keep track of. I keep telling people I've got stress-induced Alzheimer's as I can't seem to remember things at all unless I write them down and put them smack in the middle of my traffic pattern.

The UK bank account paperwork went through, so we'll be making a wire transfer soon. It will be easier to have local access to our money rather than trying to make it work from the US. Plus, we're almost ready to put together the 1 or 2 boxes of personal stuff we'll be sending over next week to get there hopefully by the time we do. Just a few things: some of Kev's hand tools, a few linens to get us started, some sundries, etc.
