We made it!!! The last 3 weeks have been absolutely insane, but we got it done. We just finished our final packing, except for the stuff we'll need for the morning. Hopefully we'll be able to lift our bags when we're jetlagged...
We finally got out of the house this past Friday at 5:30pm. It was quite a mad rush getting everything out, but we did it. It's amazing how big the house looks when it's empty...that is, until you actually try to put furniture in it and realize how small it really is (which we learned when we first moved in almost 8 years ago). We both marveled at the fact that except for a few boxes and pieces of furniture with a couple of relatives, our entire assortment of "stuff" fits in a 10x12 space...with some room to spare. Scary.
Thanks to all our friends and family for your support during this crazy time. We're lucky to have all of you to help us make this possible.
